Cast & Crew

Nick Tecosky, WRITE CLUB Atlanta Viceroy/Host

Nick is writer/performer/curmudgeon living and working in Atlanta. When not scribbling or screaming at the helm of WRITE CLUB ATLANTA, he busies himself play or screenwriting. He recently cowrote the upcoming V/H/S, which premieres at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. He almost exclusively dreams of electric sheep, if you are wondering.

Myke Johns, WRITE CLUB Atlanta Consigliere/Producer

MykefaceMyke acts as the very important other half of Nick’s brain, wrangling suckers combatants and creating our podcasts. When not aiming microphones at angry, swearing writers, he is aiming microphones at radio hosts as a producer at Atlanta’s NPR station WABE. And when not doing that, he is aiming microphones at his angry, swearing band called Mice in Cars. He also occasionally writes things down. He apologizes for all the anger and the swears.

Ian Belknap, WRITE CLUB Overlord

Ian Belknap is a writer/performer living in Chicago. Currently he serves as the Dean of Mean at The Paper Machete, the Minister of Veracity for The Encylopedia Show , and Host and Overlord of WRITE CLUB.

His highly regarded live memoir show Wide Open Beaver Shot of My Heart: A Comedy With a Body Count debuted in the Rhino Theater Fest and was later produced at The Neo-Futurists. He is curator/host of the shows Something Wicked This Way Comes (seven deadly sins-themed monologues), which appeared at Rhino Fest and later at The Garage at Steppenwolf, and Ian’s Dog & Pony Show (it’s a big world of funny – let’s all play nice) which gathered solo performers, improv, sketch, and stand-up in a comedy mashup.

He used to be an actor, but did not find this sufficiently interesting to continue with it. He used to be a stand-up comedian, but had not the patience for it.

Jami Howard, Wicked Webmistress

Jami Howard used to want to teach Jazzercise, but realized she liked ice cream too much. Instead she became a Facebook and WordPress wizard, writer and professional graphic designer. A self-professed techno-nerd, she is also a single mom with a penchant for snark, profanity and mocktacular writing, as evidenced by her extremely popular site Datewrecks. Such qualities have traditionally translated to huge popularity on the internet.

Jami writes several regular columns in publications around Atlanta including Rome Parent Magazine, Athens Patch and her wildly popular personal blog, Freak Bacon which is not actually about bacon at all but chock-full of freaks. She is the brains behind the beauty of this website as well as the Facebook Page but if anything goes wrong with either, it was probably Nick’s fault.

She likes craft beer and making fun of people (but not you) (okay maybe you) (probably). She would love to take your money in exchange for her expertise in WordPress and Facebook Page Optimization. She holds it down in A(th) town with her kidlet and chef boyfriend.
